I use Spybot Search & Destroy, AdAwareSE 1.05, Spywareblaster, Spywareguard,
TrendMicro AV, Sygate firewall, CWShredder and a NAT router. Occasionally,
when I'm bored, I take the Pest Patrol free online scan :-)

As Kurt says, though, safe hex is best.
