No flame war. Just the truth. Linux, any version, is no better than Windows,
no more secure than Windows and not as easy to use for the masses - AS
WINDOWS!

The Fedora line is like a huge beta project anyway. If you have ever Used any of the Suses (9.0 and up) or Red hat 10.0 and up, you would be really impressed, if you knew how to use those distros. I have used them and they are very nice systems; their main downfalls are, they don't get a lot of software support, though their hardware support is just about equal to Windows. I use my Knoppix from time to time which recognizes and use all my hard except my soundcard in which this version I have does have Linux support, but I am unwilling to install it on my system so that a CD OS can use it..Even using Knoppix could give you an education on the basics of Linux. If you did this only to start a flame war, then you've lost, as it doesn't belong in these groups, and your lack of (admitted) experience with anything Linux makes you also look idiotic if you're trying to prove anything.
