Help with Bootdisk error

Last month I started my computer and received a message saying something
about bootable disk insert disk and press enter, so I went into the BIOS and
couldn't see anything about the hard drive so I replaced it and installed
Windows ok, now 2 weeks on I got the same message and went intot he BIOS and
selected enter for the primary master and then I saw the hard drive listed
there and did a F10 to save and rebooted the computer and it start fine, is
this another failing hard drive or motherboard?
