Roaming Profile Problem

I am having a problem with some of my laptop users (XP Pro & W2K Pro) &
their roaming profiles. The problem is that changes made off-line to the
Desktop & My Documents folders are not replicated up to the server from the
laptop the next time it connects to the server. The share on the server
(Windows 2003 Std) where they store their profiles has authernticated users
with the Read & Excute, List Folder Contents, & Read permissions. Then on
their individual folders, I have added the individual user with Modify
rights, blocked inheritance (with the copy option), and removed the
Authenticated Users from the permissions list for the directory.

The users effective rights are Modify to the folder that contains their
profiles. I know they can write to them since if I delete their profile on
the server, it does copy it up from their computer.

I have selected the "Files or programs the share will not be available
offline" option in the Offline Settings.... of the share properties per a
Microsoft Knowledge Base article that mentioned corruption could occur if
that setting was turned on.

Please Help me & thanks in advance,

Charles.
