Dell, Gateway, or the local mom and pop shop, but spending
money on an old PC can get to be a big waste of time and
money. The hardware is simply old, the architecture is
slow, the limitations cost a lot to over-come. Most people
have good luck with Dell and Dell does ship a full set of
media CDs.

But my point was that even before you factor your time and
the effort to upgrade, you will spend a significant amount
of cash for new software (Windows upgrade) and new hardware.
It may not perform well and there may be other issues.

Just Because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't after
you!
