Hi Richard,
That's normal in Windows XP. Common Favorites + User favorites is not possible together. Redirecting Favorites to establish a common favorites folder is the only workaround that I can think of. You can redirect the Links folder as well.

I am creating a lab image for a student laboritory, and I need to be able to have IE draw from a couple of groups of favorites... 1st is a group of common favorites that are stored locally on the machines...and the 2nd is a set of personal favorites stored on network drives for each user. I have tried using all users profile and another generic profile...but this doesn't seem to work..it only draws from the one place still. Any ideas would be greatly recieved. Thanks
