I've been here for 9 years now on the newsgroups. 11 years on their online services before the internet. And online for 15 years (again pre internet). It's been binary for 9 years. That why the rules say you cannot upload stuff that breaches copyright or are viruses. Although last year MS reduced the maximun size for attachments twice.
