I am running Word 2000 on an XP Pro machine. This is networked to a Win
2000 server.

When I try to open a document from Word 2000 on the server from my XP
machine, it hangs for a long time before it lists the documents. At times
it locks up.

There seem to be a lot of theories about this sort of behaviour - any
suggestions? It seems to be a problem when the client is XP and the server
is 2000. I'm running Norton Internet Security on the Server, but I haven't
been able to disable this fully to test whether this is the problem.

Any suggestions?
