I downloaded symcln from Norton and ran it according to instructions and it
ran fine, with a message at the end saying I can now install the sw that I
was not able to install before because of leftover items from System Works.
So, I started to install Ghost 9.0, and again I got the same frustrating
message that a previous version of GHOST is on my computer and must be
uninstalled. I ran symcln again, it ran fine, I tried installing Ghost
again, got same message... Very frustrating! !
I also deleted the "GhostStartService" and "GhostStartTrayApp" files (by
shutting down those two processes first) and the entire GHOST folder. Still
can't install Ghost 9.0.
I guess I will have to call Norton's paid support. What a rip off, on a new
product I just bought!
