Internet History

Is it possible to recall every internet site that was visited on my computer?
The "history" doesn't seem effective. I am hoping for something that will
display the address of the site visited and the date and time and possibly
the duration. Very often I want to go back to a site that I didn't add to my
favorites and I cant find them. Thanks for any help or advise.
