I think you're agreeing with me, but it's hard to tell. Anyone who backed up
15 years worth of any kind of work on a CD and then lost it due to a stupid
blunder like accidentally erasing the disk deserves whatever happens to him
as a result. In such situations there are always redundancies and off-site
storage involved, and the level of redundancies is proportionate to the
importance of the data.
