Mute All tells the sound card to not send anything to the speakers.
But the beep is made by a tiny internal speaker in your computer, not
controlled by the sound card. There may be a setting in your BIOS
setup to turn the speaker off. But bear in mind that the BIOS and
motherboard use the beeps to communicate with you when something very
low-level goes wrong (can't talk to your RAM or video adapter), and
there's no other way to communicate with you.
