Up until last week I could just type in the web page that I wanted to go to
without having to type in http://www. and then it would automatically appear
followed by whatever webpage I typed in and I was able to go to that web
page. Now if I type in a web page (like microsoft.com) all that shows up in
the address bar is microsoft.com with no http://www. in front of it and the
system just sits there and does nothing for about 1 1/2 minutes. If I type
http://www.microsoft.com I am automatically taken to the microsoft page. How
can i get that functionality back? It was very convenient. Last week I
received (I think) the microsoft security update; could that be the culprit?
