Setup disks on DVD?

I am going to be travelling with a laptop for a few months so I want
to have an assortment of setup disks on hand. This Vaio for instance
comes with 3 system restore disks and 3 program disks, and that's
without any of the apps that I'll have with me. Would it be possible
to copy all these disks on to a few DVD's? If I had to resort to
restoring would disk 1, Disk 2 etc be found on the DVD?
