The way I do this is arrange them in smaller subfolders according to
function/application e.g. put all system utilities (e.g Defragmenter,
Scandisk(?), Adaware, MS Anti-spyware, Firewall apps, Security Centre etc)
from Scandisk to Adware in one folder - applications (perhaps order them in
subfolders according to software manufacturer name eg Adobe, Macromedia,
Microsoft etc) and so on to tidy up the All Programs menu. then same with
other things like Windows has My Pictures, My Videos, My Webs etc as well as
My Documents.
Generally you can drag & drop entries from one menu to another.
