Sorry for the late response. I keep all messages for a couple of days
only on my local newsserver and therefore, I couldn't track this thread
anymore. Thanks to Lady Kelly (hugs & kisses because giving me a buzz
by email) I'm aware of your follow-up now.
The registry tweak that I was posting is the remedy for your problem,
usually. Recently however, it failed a couple of times in local news-
groups and that's my standard question if a standard advice fails:
Is there any Norton/Symantec software installed?
Yes, this stuff was installed in all cases when this tweak failed.
Over the years, I got tired of the following deja-vue discussions
after posting to uninstall this crap. Therefore, I just mention that
an advice might not work if there are any Symantec products installed.
It's up to the user to decide how to proceed in this case and I do not
have to explain a thousand times that Symantec software is simply not
Windows compatible and BTW never was.
