Hi Dan, This may be off subject here but why did you choose a dual os
installation, was it problematic, did you need to partition hard drive, how
much memory is necessary for them to function on same system, what system
capacity are you using. I recently bit the bullet and bought Wxp,
Professional to upgrade from my Win98, SE but I have been using this os for 5
yrs now, and I am used to it. I have to decide whether or not to run both or
just upgrade, and figure out how and why. I finally purchase the new op
system though just for the very reason the supported issues are less, the
vulnerabilities keep coming, and I am relying more on the internet as time
progresses.My system has:
GenuineIntel X86 Family6 Model8 Stepping3, 127.0MB RAM
ticket Intel Pentium III,600 MHz
30GB harddrive
128MB SDRAM
W98,SE with IE6, SP1 but OE6 now not functioning for some reason
Dialup connection with SBC, modem Conexant SoftK56,Data,Fax PCI
Thanks for your input; and I agree with the extending supported deadline for
Windows 98, but it seems a done deal with Wxp out of the box, and Longhorn
on the horizon....
