Hi

I have a strange problem with my WinXPe.
Suddenly VGA signal is lost after the screen with the white status bar, just
after load of WindowsXPe. When the blue background was excpected (With logon
etc.), the VGA looses it signal. But the PC is running fine. A connection
with Remote Desktop comfirms that.

The graphics adapter, support dual display, and WinXPe allso has detected 2
display in the Device Manager. The PC, a small embedded PC, has only the VGA
output. The other (LCD) is N/A.
So i suspect, that for any reason, WinXP has decided to show the desktop on
the other display. ?
The strange thing is, that it has run fine for weeks and suddenly one day,
it has switch to the other dispaly and nothing is showen on the screen ?

When I connect with remote desktop and uninstall the graphics adapter, the
dekstop is showen fine after reboot, until the PnP has installed the driver;
then the VGA signal is lost again. (and desktop is showen on the other
display i guess).

In display properties, under settings, the used display is "(Multiple
Monitors) on Silicon Motion LynxEM+"

Is there any way of forcing windows to use a specific display ??

Could it be a driver issue ??

I have updated the driver with the latest.

The used graphics adapter is Silicon Motion LynxEM+ SM712.
CPU: 733 MHz Tranmetta with VIA chipset and 512 MB RAM

Thomas
