Hi Paul,
V.92 supports MoH (Modem-on-Hold) feature, which is explained in detail here:
http://www.modemsite.com/56k/v92moh.asp
http://www.v92.com/about/modem-on-hold.html
I've not used it, nor my ISP supports this standard.

Modem on Hold
In order for it to work, your modem must support that feature; you must have separate Modem on Hold software installed on your computer; you must have your local telephone company's Call Waiting service on your telephone line; AND your ISP must have their equipment configured correctly to support Modem on Hold.

IIRC, the modem manufacturer supplies the utility (apart from the device drivers), to avail this feature.

I have a nec rockwell RCV56ACF v92 modem. MY dialup ISP says that I can talk on my phone while surfing the net if I have a v92. I never heard this before. They said that I need to follow modem instruction in setting this up. Is this true, and how can I set it up? Thanks, Paul
