Boy, HP hardware sure is great, but thier driver installs can be sloppy.
I'd reccomend going to the HP web site, finding the support / downloads
section, and downloading / installing the latest drivers for your device.
Close any extra open programs before running the install, and reboot when
prompted. HP installs have a red light / greenlight , "mother may I" kind of
feel to them, and if they don't run exactly the way they want to, the results
are not always perfect. So - give it a whirl and let me know wha tyou get.
