Hi,
If her HD crashed and had to be reinstalled then likely her account
got damaged.
Depending on what OS Home or Pro you can do a few things.
For Pro at the login screen do CTRL-ALT-DEL 2x to get the login
screen. Type Administrator as the login and leave the pwd blank (this
is the default install for Pro and Home).
For Home, Restart in safe mode. At the login screen type administrator
and leave the pwd blank.
If this doesn’t work then you may need to reload XP.
