Quoted below is a post from my son this A.M.
Thanks, Gord
Hey dad,
I am havin internet explorer problems. I installed the sp1 pack for ie
6 last week so I could go on the Bank of Montreal site as the site said I
needed that pack. Now I have a hot search bar and an isearch bar added to my
toolbar and cannot get rid of them. You cannot customize the toolbars as they
arent listed in there. I can temporarily get rid of them by unclicking them
under view/toolbars but they just come back the next time I open ie. Ie is
running really slow and doing something else why I am running it, it is
stopping and I can hear it loading something else and while this is happening,
my ie6 window will just go dead and then come back a minute later or so. I
uninstalled the sp1 pack but the search bars are still there.
Sometimes they download porn links to my desktop or open different sites. Is
there anything you can suggest that I can do?
