Double Posts

Since this applies to no specific newsgroup, but to all
of them, this NG is as good a place to post this as any...

Used to have W/Me - had a disk crash; had my PC
fixed and upgraded to W/XP SP2; had to reset everything
from scratch and from partially restored CDs recovered from
the old drive. For the past month I've been doing nothing
but fixing problems. Just ONE of them is now in every NG,
whenever someone posts either a new topic or a reply, they
show up twice. Every post is a double post.

Would anyone have any idea how to get rid of the
'double posting' syndrome?!

TIA - Mike_________
