I was talking to a guy who had some beautiful pictures on his web site. I
wondered if he was willing to sell me a subscription so that I could
download some of them for desktop wallpaper.
He is concerned with letting the full size pictures out into the wild
because other people could get hold of them without paying.
I wondered if there was any way to tie the pictures to an individual
computer or some other anti-theft device that would make it possible for him
to sell the pictures for me to use and yet be sure that they could not be
transferred illegally. Watermarks are out of the question, unless it is
something really unobtrusive, because I think that they destroy the
beautiful pictures and find them quite annoying.
If anyone has any thoughts on this subject, I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
Carolyn
