They are still advicing the people to evacuate the area (atleast 2 Kms away). Because of this, my cousin, with his family, whose residence is a few Kms away from the Marina beach, have vacated the region and staying with us at present.

The massive international relief effort is struggling to get food, water and medicine to the estimated 5 million survivors of the Indian Ocean tsunami as Red Cross officials feared the death toll could rise to 100,000.

Did you realise that we are on the same plate. Known as the Australian Plate or the Australian-India Plate. Australia and India were once neighbours and joined together. It was our plate that moved. It includes Australia, India, Sri Lanka, PNG and Irian Jaya, and some Indonesian islands.
Pakistan just got humilated again. There were on top for the first two days but lost big time on day 4. The Sri Lankan team is in New Zealand. They're in trouble because they decided to stay in NZ (like the Sri Lankan government needs another 11 mouths to feed at the moment).

Andaman and Nicobar Islands experienced two more earthquakes (today) after this incident. Fortunately not much damage though, this time. I think it's 5.3 on the Richter scale.
