Random failures like that are usually because of hardware problems. Open
the computer and make sure that all fans are clean and running well,
particularly the one on your video card. Make sure you have the latest
drivers for the Radeon, and that your computer isn't overheating. I'd
also test the RAM with Memtest86+ from www.memtest.org.
