The Acronis Demo is not fully functional and should not have made any
changes to your system. It will just show you what is possible but you have
to purchase it to make changes to your partitions.
When you say you can't boot what do you mean? Can you start the computer and
see the POST screen or logo display? Can you get to a point where the
computer stops responding or is the system completely dead?
If you can at least start the computer then do so and repeatedly press and
release the F8 Key until you see the Boot Menu. Select Last Known Good
Configuration and press Enter. Hopefully that will get you up and running.
If not boot back to the Boot Menu again and this time select Safe Mode. Once
into Safe Mode use System Restore to revert back to a time when the system
was running correctly.
If this doesn't work then you may need to check the BIOS and see if indeed
the Boot Sequence or Startup sequence is set to Hard Drive first. You should
change to Floppy, CD-Rom, Hard Drive. Then try using the XP CD to do a
Repair. See some of the info here

If, when you turn on the computer, you have a blank screen then your problem
is hardware related.
