You can do it several ways: The best way is if the program allows
the startup feature to be turned on or off. Go into the program's
options and look. If that feature is not available, you can generally
stop the program from starting by using the configuration editor.
Start -> Run -> msconfig.exe ->enter. When the dialog opens, click on
the startup tab. Remove the checkmark from the program you wish to
stop from starting up. Reboot. Cancel the configuration editor
dialog.
This will not permanently remove the program from your computer. If
you should wish to run the program again from startup, just reverse
the process above.
