What a digitally driver does is to validate that the driver you are about to
installed has not been tampered with since it has been issued. Windows
install digitally signed drivers and let you decide what to do with the ones
that are not. A driver coming off your new graphic card's installation CD
is, too most of us, to be trusted even if not digitally signed, whereas a
driver found on an personal website (not the manufacturer's corporate
website) may be questionable The are three settings you can choose from, for
drivers that are not digitally signed: Ignore, warn and block.

Right-click "My Computer: and click the Hardware tab. in the Driver section,
click Driver Signing and read carefully all the information. If it is not
clear, remember that you have access to contextual help (the question mark
next to the "Close Window" button). By clicking "?", you will see a question
mark next to your mouse arrow and a screen tip will appear and explain the
option you don't fully understand. Redo for the next item you want to know
more about.
