Is it not better to talk to people using the same program rather than asking people who have not used your program.

You are still confused. Binaries are allowed and always have been. The reason you don't see many these days is the web interface makes attaching binaries pointless for most, but not all, posters. I showed you the closest this group has to a charter. Are you aware that commercial announcements related to the group's purpose, that aren't pure spam, are also allowed.
