A manual uninstall. Look for the installation folder. Find what files
are there and what dates they were installed. Search for them in the
registry. Search for references to Veritas and to the name of the
program. Delete registry keys. Search for the files in XP and for any
other files created on that same date. If you find some that weren't in
the install folder search for those in the registry too. Check
properties to see if any information there can support those files being
part of this program. Delete the files and foldes.

Make sure there is a complete system backup and a backup of the registry.
