I have been asked to fix a computer for a friend and I am stumped. Here are
the specs for the machine
1) HP laptop model # N5310
2) 128 Megs of RAM
3) XP home is installed
4) Pentium III processor
The computer goes through the boot just fine. I am then asked to login, I
proceed to log in, the computer waits about 15-20 seconds and then says that
user is logging out and I am dumped back into login screen. I have also
tried going in under safe mode and the same thing happens. I also tried
going back to the last known good configuration, no luck. Any help at all
would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
