Hi,
No, its not open opend. Here in Japan, you can find all kinds of things for
computers and electronics. I modified the side panel to mount a 18" fan as
exhaust, then have four 9cm fans plus the PSU fan as intakes. The intake
fans have removable dust covers for easy cleaning. I live in Okinawa and
the some summers the temps stay above 32 C with 85 to 90 percent humidity.
The system tends to warm up fast with the Vid card, CPU, 3 HDDs, etc. I
don't overclock the CPU, but when I'm not using the system, SETI is, so the
CPU is always being utilized.
I will check out the sites and recommendations. This is the first AMD
processor I'm buying, so trying to get as much advice for it. On Intel
stuff, I pretty much know what I would get, just never really researched on
AMD and PCI vid cards since the advent of the AGP cards.
