Thanks Dev, for your quick response. Yes, my configuration is as follows: 1)
My phone line is connected to my U.S. Robotics 56k internal Fax modem; 2) I
have attached a phone line from the modem to my DSL filter plug; 3) The DSL
filter plug is connected to a shared wall jack. Since I can still pick up my
phone and dial a number I am suspect of the win-xp fax software and its
operation. I initiated this fax form MS Word and I now see this document in
OUTBOX of the Fax console with a status of RETRYING. Thanks again . . . Tom
