There are no "rules" like this that are appropriate for everyone.What
"should be" checked or unchecked is entirely up to the individual and how he
works. For example, your "rule" is not appropriate for me. The first thing
*I* do when I start up my computer is check my E-mail; for that reason, I
have Microsoft Outlook (an Office program) set to start automatically when I
boot.
