    Antonio,
First, click Start > Run > type in msconfig ,click OK > click the 'Startup'
    tab.
Uncheck everything except your popup blocker & Virus scan if you want it to
scan for viruses at all times. This is totally up to you. All Office
programs should be unchecked. If a program needs 'Word' it will open anyway.
Next, click Start > Programs > Startup > right-click and delete any other
useless icons in here, especially the ones associated with Office. Finally,
click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > uninstall
any programs that aren't needed. Reboot. During reboot a window will come up
saying you changed some settings. check the box & click OK. Good Luck.

As soon as I strart Windows XP a lot of programs start automatically: all
office programs, explorer, messenger, internet connection... I would like to
remove the automatical start of this program and on starting just going to
    the Desktop.

It's not a virus as I have a strong antivirus and doesn't detect any. I have
tryed aswell the "program tasks" but there's nothing there.

Could anyone help me, please? Would really appreciate it.

    Thank you.
