Hi
I've recently reinstalled Windows XP Pro (then updated to SP2 & all other
updates) and have a problem with Suspending.
Every time I suspend, when I resume, I get to the welcome screen, and the
machine doesn't respond properly... It's not frozen, since after quite a
while, it will actually do what I told it to (i.e. click a user, then wait 1
min for it to actually respond)
It's not reading from the HD during this, but the fans start to go nuts
after a few minutes (it's a laptop...) which makes me think it's
processing... but what? The only way to get back to normal is to power off
(by holding the power button), which I imagine isn't all that good for
anything....
How can I troubleshoot/fix this? The MS knowledgebase came up with
nothing....
