I deleted the new XP folder & corrected the boot.ini to remove it's thread.
As for what's going on is exactly as follows,
When I boot XP it shows me the checkdsk screen before the welcome screen &
always checking partitions of my 2nd HD (which was repaired before but worked
fine till my kid did what he did) & not necessarily the same partitions &
always with no problems found, after that the welcome screen appears & I log
on, after that when I press the start button, the "All Programs" give me the
sign saying new programs installed & higlights old installed programs, this
happen each time I log on, also not necessarily the same programs. Any ideas
???
My kid has a guest account now & is banned from using any CDs except after
permission.
Thnks
