hard drive searching

when ever i double click on my hard drive instead of opening the drive to
show its contents it pops up a search window instead. i can get into it
normally if i go right click, then explore but as it isnt the defualt way of
doing it i thought you guysmight know a way to reset the folder options or
somthing
