I wish I knew the answer - however your question provokes a
huge revelation of ignorance on my part.
I also have two burners, and they BOTH work with desktop
burning.
I have never ENABLED recording on either!!
I simply drag to whichever is my "current" target, and Xp seems
to do the rest - have you tried just DOING it??
