Hey there Eddie. I do not know if you mean that you were finally able to get
the rundll32.exe restored, but if that is the case, I am glad to hear it.
However I would recommend the following, if you want to best express your
appreciation: Instead of posting your gratitude as a new thread, post it in
the original thread where you posted your problem, and post how you finally
resolved the issue. This helps in a number of ways:
1. Some of us who try to help check an option that lets TechNet inform us by
e-mail if a new post is responded in a thread we have answered. That way if
you are sending us a message (positive OR negative) we are more likely to get
it. Often enough we will not open every thread, but will check back to an
old thread for feedback.
2. If someone else encounters the same problem you had, he or she can read
the thread, see what you tried, and see what worked.
3. Microsoft knows some of us, and tracks our performance, including number
of posts, successful resolutions, etc. Your positive feedback counts towards
our end-of-year performance marks! :)
Glad things are working for you, and looking forward to hearing which
solution did it for you.
