CD burning

I have 2 CD-RW drives on my PC and use the built-in Windows XP software to
write to CDs. When I enable CD buning on one of the drives, CD burning on
the other is automatically disabled. It seems only one drive at a time can
beused for burning, the second one being reduced to a CD reader. Is there a
way around this?
