Seeing ah how it is a manufactured PC as opposed to one you built, I would
assume that legacy support is turned on. But, it never hurts to double
check. You will have to read your manual to see how to enter the bios during
the initial stages of the boot process. On Asus motherboards you usually
press the "delete" key. Other boards and manufacturers use other keys.

When in the bios, look for anything that has to do with USB. Make sure it is
turned on. If you are not SURE as to what to do, or what you may have
changed - be certain to exit WITHOUT saving changes. Then come back here and
seek further instruction.

A wrong setting in the bios can prevent your computer from booting and may
make it unusable.

You may also want to check with the Sony web site to see if there is an
update for your bios that may address this situation.
