Your best bet is to take that hard drive out and install it in another
computer as a secondary. That way you don't need to worry about it being
bootable, and you aren't limited to saving floppy-sized files.

If you don't have another computer and can't talk a friend into this, a
local shop should be able to do it for you pretty easily.
