I entirely concur. I have used both McAfee and Norton for several years
before I "saw the light". Norton in particular slowed down my computers
and I had a terrible time extracting it entirely from the registry.
Finally someone showed me a better way... in my case, Trend Micro. They
have a 90 day free trial offer or $24.95 for the year...either/or deal.
It has a small footprint and gives daily (sometimes twice daily)
updates. Great little security suite.
