That is because of the following:
This behavior occurs because the Usbscan.sys driver cannot be used
simultaneously by more than one scanner.
Using a different scanner that doesn't use Usbscan.sys will allow 2
scanners to be used. But since you are searching for problem resolution
then "Cannot" is the operative word.
