Hi Mike,
Thanks for sorting this out personally. This news seems to be spreading
quite quickly. Quite a few sites including the Register (don't know how
trust worthy it is, though) seem to be spreading this (do a Google search
and you'll get a few hits) but as you rightly pointed out, none of them
mention who this 'source' is. It is not unreasonable to consider the fact
that it could be some AMD fanatics spreading this.
Good to learn that the Longhorn 32 and 64-bit versions are simultaneously
being developed. Hopefully we'll see a simultaneous launch of both
versions. The only reason why I posted this was because it was posted by a
'MVP' - Really didn't intend to disseminate incorrect information.
As far as the site is concerned I don't quite remember seeing ads there, due
to Ad-Muncher in the background that removes all ads, popups et al.
