Unfortunately System Restore sometimes gets corrupted, and
there's nothing you can do except turn it off and turn it back
on. That will lose all existing restore points, but it should at
least work correctly from that point forward.

System restore is not a tool for getting rid of viruses.
Depending on the virus, it may not help at all, and even if it
can, if the virus has been there for a substantial part of that
year, you won't have a restore point that goes back far enough.
What are the two viruses you have, and how do you know you have
them? The way to get rid of them is with anti-virus software.
