I recommend that you do multiple virus scans using the below-listed online
scanners FIRST. See if anything shows up (fix them if you do get any
indications of virus):
Panda ActiveScan
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm
Trend Micro
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp (this will require
you to install some software so they can scan your machine for viruses)
Symantec
http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/vc_scan.asp? (this also requires that you
install some software to scan your machine)
It's a lot more effective to make sure you get rid of the viruses, rather
than doing a Restore on top of some infected/suspect files. The Restore may
not get rid of all the virus-laden files.
