A PC with Windows XP Home edition can connect to the Internet from home. We
then run pptp VPN software to connect to our company's network through the
firewall. This works fine as we can connect to Windows 2000 servers and
access the folders off them. The problem comes when we try to connect to the
Unix server (SVR4 flavour) we have on our site, we can't ping the Unix server
from the PC but we can ping all the other servers on the network. In the past
we have been ok to access this Unix server but this was using a Windows 98
PC. Do we need to configure the VPN in someway so that we can see/connect to
the Unix server or do we need to do somthething else ?
Thanks
David
